This is a long-term project Dastekaram is running since 2009 financially supported by “The Girls Education International” USA. It has successfully completed a 5 years Program “Girls Post Primary Education” from April, 2014 to March, 2019 which was implemented in District Chakwal. Currently, the five-year program (April, 2019-March, 2024) is in smooth operation.
The key objective of this project is to empower girls through education. Under this project, young girls enrolled in primary and secondary education are financially supported. At present, Dastekaram is successfully facilitating 60 families. All the girls are paid a scholarship, an amount enough to pay their travel expenditures.
